I was diagnosed with dermatomyositis in 2022 and have been receiving monthly five-hour IVIG infusions ever since. Despite the challenge, I’ve stayed deeply involved in business clubs, classes, and competitions at my school. Now, I’m combining my business experience and firsthand knowledge of infusions to turn a personal challenge into a platform for connection, support, and community.
I’ve always been drawn to people who feel overlooked or alone. When TogetherIV came into view, I saw an opportunity to help create something meaningful, a platform that reminds patients they’re never truly alone and that there’s a whole community of people undergoing a similar journey. Working on TogetherIV has reminded me that it’s easy to forget how powerful a simple connection can be, until you see what it means to someone.
